Our Mission

To keep providing excellent customer service to present and prospective clients alike with a smile, while keeping a keen eye on industry practice and health & safety.

Daniel Tanner-Hutchings

Daniel began his career in the tree surgery business in 2001 as an apprentice for a local company. He gained very valuable experience at this time and started to work for other companies expanding his practical experience and knowledge.

After some time he decided it was time for change so started to work for a commercial company which involved operations in streets, parks, and residential properties for a local authority.

During 2004 Daniel obtained his qualifications consisting of City & Guilds in Arboriculture and NPTC (National Proficiency testing council) certificates. It wasn’t long before Daniel decided to go it alone and has since made good progress.

Highwood Tree services became operational in 2007 and due to the enthusiasm, dedication, pride and safety awareness Daniel ensures that all work is carried out to high standards. He employs like minded people that are also dedicated and work to a high standard.
